香港特区第七届立法会议员宣誓仪式举行
2022年1月3日上午，香港特别行政区第七届立法会议员宣誓仪式在立法会综合大楼会议厅举行。上午11时，宣誓仪式正式举行，香港特区行政长官林郑月娥为议员监誓。
仪式开始前，首先奏唱中华人民共和国国歌。随后，90名议员按次序进行宣誓，表示拥护香港基本法、效忠香港特区。宣誓仪式结束后，全体议员在立法会大堂拍摄大合照。
香港特区第七届立法会选举投票于2021年12月19日顺利结束，这是完善香港特区选举制度后的首次立法会选举。153名候选人竞选90个议席，包括选举委员会选举的议员40人、功能团体选举的议员30人和分区直接选举的议员20人。
第七届立法会任期自1月1日开始，任期4年。1月12日，第七届立法会将举行首次会议。
An oath-taking ceremony for the 90 lawmakers elected to the Legislative Council was held in China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on Monday.
The lawmakers took one by one the oath to uphold the Basic Law of the HKSAR and swear allegiance to the HKSAR after jointly singing the national anthem of China.
HKSAR's Chief Executive Carrie Lam chaired the ceremony.
These were the first lawmakers to be elected under the improved electoral system, and it was also the first time in the history of the HKSAR LegCo that they took an oath in front of the national emblem.
The Election Committee constituency (40 seats), functional constituencies (30 seats), and geographical constituencies (20 seats) elected all 90 lawmakers after over 1.35 million Hong Kong residents voted last month.
The new LegCo began its four-year term on Saturday and is expected to hold its first session on January 12.
